Sunday, November 2nd, 2008The Rev. Fr. Philip Bonifacio posted the following pictures in our Yahoo group. If you are not a member yet, please go here and sign up!
As you may recall, Nay Rebecca married Felix “Eling” Bonifacio from Bacolod and settled there. They had three children, Joel, Kermet and Philip. Nay Rebing passed away sometime in the (60s? 70s?) and Tay Eling remarried and the three kids have a half sister who is now a nurse working in Ireland.

Saturday, November 1st, 2008Philip is the son of Nay Rebing (Rebecca), so he is a member of the Tropa ni Rebecca. The reverend father is currently serving in Ichikiwa City in Japan. These pictures were taken here in Chicago when he visited in 2006.
Philip writes:
I am from the roots of Rebecca Ilio Bonifacio (Nanay is the eldest of the 7 siblings), belonging to the 2nd Nuptial of Hilarion Ilio. My brothers are Joel (Hilarion “Boy”) and Josel Kermet, all are in Bacolod. I have a half-sister named Joy who is now in Cork, Ireland, working as a nurse. I visited her last August 4 to 15, 2008. She is married to an Irish man and I have a 5 year old Irish nephew.
